Area Rug Cleaning in Palm Beach County

Rugs take the brunt of a Florida household: sand, pets and the foot traffic of every room they sit in. We clean them where they are, so there is no rolling, hauling or waiting weeks.

Many of Frank’s regular customers started with their rugs. Area rugs sit in the busiest spots in the house and collect what carpets and tile do not: sand from the beach, pet hair and the spills that happen at the dining table and in front of the sofa.

We clean rugs on site. Each rug is checked for fiber type and color-fastness first, then pretreated, deodorized and steam cleaned with the pressure and products appropriate for it. Wood, tile and marble floors underneath are protected.

If a rug has pet accidents, we will tell you honestly what can be improved and what is permanent before we start.

Rugs we clean

  • Wool and wool-blend rugs
  • Oriental and Persian-style rugs
  • Synthetic rugs: polypropylene, nylon, polyester
  • Runners and entry mats
  • Rugs on hardwood, tile and marble floors
  • Pet stains and odors
  • Condo and office rugs
  • Rugs and the carpet or floor under them, in one visit

How we clean

01

Pretreat

A pretreatment goes down first to loosen the dirt, stains and grime that everyday traffic has ground in. It also helps kill bacteria and other unhealthy contaminants.

02

Deodorize

Everything is deodorized before the cleaning starts, so pet and household odors are dealt with at the source instead of covered up.

03

Steam clean

Hot-water extraction flushes the loosened soil out and pulls it into the machine. Nothing is left behind to attract new dirt.

Questions we get about area rug cleaning

Do you take rugs away to clean them?

No. Rugs are cleaned in your home or office. Nothing leaves the house.

Is it safe for wool and oriental rugs?

Yes, with the right approach. We check the rug and test for color-fastness before cleaning, and adjust pressure and products for natural fibers.

How often should rugs be cleaned?

Our regulars with kids and dogs have us out a few times a year. A rug in a quieter room can go longer. Frequent vacuuming between cleanings helps.

Can you clean the rug and the floor under it in one visit?

Yes. Rugs, carpet, tile and upholstery can all be done in a single appointment.
